IT Outsourcing UK – India Reaching to a Brand New High

IT outsourcing is going through a booming phase. In fact, ‘outsourcing’ has become the catchphrase of success for both the companies that agree to work in tandem. If we restrict our focus to IT outsourcing UK, we can see that India is top priority for the UK companies. According to survey reports pouring in, India is outsmarting its competitors on the global front due to its high-end quality and cost-effective service. In the field of global outsourcing, it has become the undisputed king and is inching towards the cusp of revolution.

EquaTerra, an advisory firm in the UK has found out that majority of the IT outsourcing UK companies are going all out to tie the knot with at least one Indian service provider. A survey done on the top 320 UK IT spenders for outsourcing has revealed that India has occupied the fourth berth in the first five ranks as far as the customer satisfaction is concerned. The marginal increase in off-shoring IT works to India is going up at an accelerating rate. More than fifty percent of the companies – brought under the survey – have given a piece of their mind that they want to work with India in the IT field.

According to Phil Morris, the managing director of Equa Terra, such a trend will continue to exist for a decade or more. It is because the IT outsourcing UK companies are getting crazy about the high quality of service at the low cost figure. And no one should lay the blame at their door. Every entrepreneur always fixes eyes on cost slashing. And when it comes at no expense of quality compromise, it deserves an ‘Oh, so great!’ exclamation. Outsourcing to India is causing no harm to the UK workers because most of them are not trained to take the responsibility, Morris has observed.

Offshore IT services in UK have a huge growth potential. It is a crucial sector where the companies want to get service for multiple purposes such as IT solution, support, advice etc. Though low cost has always been a motivating factor for outsourcing, but the UK companies also prioritize flexibility, knowledge, quality and skill. And India with its legacy of good education system and knowledge in English has become a new brand for IT outsourcing.
